Peter Bressan, whose real name is
Pierre Jaillard, is a French flutes maker installed in London in
1683, where he spent his entire career. Very known for its
recorders, he also made transverse flutes, of which there are only
two pieces left in England and an older model in Washington, of which
the central part is unfortunately missing. I copy the London flute
which is at A 410. I offer it in 415, 410, 400 and 392. The main
characteristic is a warm, powerful and timbre tone, with particularly
sonorous fork notes.
